II. Information Collected from a Registrant
Information collected consists of registrant name, employer electronic and physical mailing addresses and telephone number, job title, disability and diet needs if any, training history, marketing methods that led to registration for training, employer name, size, type, address, telephone number, and payment data consisting of method of preferred payment, purchase order and credit card data if applicable, billing address if called for by payment method, interagency billing and collection data from Federal employers, and tax identification data.
The information you provide is protected by the Privacy Act. EEOC does not share the information you provide with anyone other than in accordance with the Act (routine uses include using information to send mailings to registrants and attendees to advertise future RF programs, providing information to a Congressional office where the registrant made an inquiry to the Congressional office, or providing information to a court, a party in litigation before a court, or in an administrative proceeding being conducted by a federal agency when the government is a party to the judicial or administrative proceeding EEOC does not share information for commercial marketing. We do not share our e-mail with any other organizations, unless we receive a request from an organization conducting a civil or criminal law enforcement investigation or receipt of a FOIA request (personal information is withheld).
Electronically submitted information is maintained and destroyed according to the requirements of the Federal Records Act and the regulations and records retention schedules of the National Archives and Records Administration and in some cases may be covered by the Privacy Act and the Freedom of Information Act. The EEOC Training Institute uses the services of Certain software for event registration. Certain is responsible for the processing of personal data it receives, under the Privacy Shield Framework, and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf. Certain complies with the Privacy Shield Principles for all onward transfers of personal data from the EU, including the onward transfer liability provisions.
With respect to personal data received or transferred pursuant to the Privacy Shield Framework, Certain is subject to the regulatory enforcement powers of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. In certain situations, Certain may be required to disclose personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
